Looking for something fun to do? New restrictions got you down? Check this out…outdoors you can (safely) go crazy finding your way through the different corn mazes the region has to offer.

Plus, each of these corn mazes support local groups and clubs in their respective communities. Have fun and support local all at the same time. Hurry to enjoy before the season ends!

New – Smoky Lake  

(Until October 16)

Itching to try somewhere new? You’re in luck! Experience a new way to have fun and get lost at the Smoky Lake Kinette Corn maze.  You’ll want to come experience this fun activity and everything else there is going on (hint: it’s a lot!).

Do plan to attend the Farmers Market on October 2nd and pick up fresh food and other goodies from local producers!

Tickets:$5 admission, under 5 is free.
Location: East across the street from George McDougall Hospital, Smoky Lake. Google Directions.

You must check out this premier fall festival, chock full of things to do. Every weekend has a different theme! You must get a photo with mascot Mazy, it’ll make for a unique memory.  Kids will love the pony rides or petting zoo from Thistle Hill Farm and the Vegreville Visual Artists Bale Maze and Rock Hunt will unlock the explorer in all of us. Celebrate your day out with a treat from DLC lemonade or Little Red Ice Cream Wagon. Looking to keep the fun going? Your admission includes entry to the Vegreville Regional Museum! 𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢-𝗠𝗔𝗭𝗘-𝘪𝘯𝘨.

It’s back! Get lost and have fun at Zagic corn maze, a favoured local event.This weekend, September 18/19, features a bake sale featuring delicious and local goodies. Funds will support the Edgerton Splash Park Project. The corn maze is open for two more weekends in September (10-4), so check it out while you can!

Tickets: Entry is a food bank donation or cash donation.
Location: Range Road 50 and Township Road 454. Need directions via Google?
Open: 10-4 Saturday and Sunday.

Helpful Tips

  • Wear Good walking shoes and appropriate clothing. (Remember, you will be walking through a cornfield.)
  • Have water on hand. Walking will make you thirsty, especially if it is a hot day.
  • Bring bug spray and sun screen.
  • A readiness to get lost!! Enjoy the experience of working your way through the ‘real life puzzle’.
