SUMMARY:Charlotte Lake Pumpkin Farms U-Pick Pumpkin Patch
DESCRIPTION:WELCOME TO THE 6TH ANNUAL PUMPKIN PATCH!!!\nCharlotte Lake Farms is excited to welcome you back for our sixth season of fall festivities. From pumpkin picking and wagon rides to the crisp beauty of Alberta’s harvest, our 2026 Pumpkin Patch continues to offer a memorable experience for visitors of all ages.\nGuests can enjoy selecting from a variety of pie pumpkins and carving pumpkins, taking in the autumn scenery, and spending quality time with family and friends.\nImportant Update: This year’s growing season has been impacted by weather delays and flooding. As a result, pumpkin quantities will be limited, and our traditional bale maze will not be available. In its place, we’re introducing an all‑new attraction: Farmer Olympics, a fun and engaging game designed to bring out your competitive spirit while keeping the farmyard energy high.\n\nWe look forward to celebrating the harvest with you.\n 2026 Pumpkin Patch Schedule\nWeekends Only | 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Last gate entry: 4:00 PM)\nOpening Weekend: Saturday, September 19 & Sunday, September 20\nAfter we will determine what is next and based on remaining pumpkins, we may open the following weekend but will notify via social media and put tickets up.\n Frost Watch: Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates!\n Admission (per person/day + GST). Buy online and skip the line at this link: https://events.frontdoorplus.com/event/2703\n\n Just Want a Pumpkin?\nNot everyone wants to do the maze, wagon rides, and games—and that’s okay! We’ll have a Farm Gate Pumpkin Store set up near the entrance where you can purchase pumpkins and fall décor without admission to the patch.\n\n What to Expect at the Patch?\n– Explore 50+ pumpkin varieties – orange, white, blue, red, pink, yellow, black, warty, bumpy, tiny, giant…there’s one for every porch, pie, soup, and carving!– Kids’ games and wagon rides included with admission.– Fantastic photo ops and NEW setups for 2026 – bring your camera!– Farm-fresh Red Angus beef available: A la carte or bundle.– Snacks for sale: cow tail candy, beef jerky & cold drinks.\n\n Tip: Wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and bring gloves – the patch is rustic and real as the pumpkin leaves and stems are prickly. If raining, you may want to bring your umbrella!\n\n Helpful Notes for Your Visit:\nWagons & cutting shears provided (or bring your own to skip the wait). Group & school visits welcome during the week, please contact us to book your fall field trip!Payment made easy – all major methods accepted.Family-Friendly: Children are welcome! Please ensure little ones are accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian. Farm Fresh Air: For everyone’s comfort, our farm is a smoke-free space. Pets: As much as we love pets, for guest comfort and livestock safety, we ask that pets stay home.\n\n Pumpkin FAQs\nAre pumpkins sensitive to frost?Absolutely! Pumpkins don’t like frost – even if cured! Once frost threatens, all remaining pumpkins will be harvested and stored safely. They’ll still be available for purchase near the patch.\nHow long will my pumpkins last?If cured properly, pumpkins can last for several months. We’ll give simple care instructions which will be available at the patch so your pumpkins stay fresh and festive all season long.\nSee you at the pumpkin patch!\n\n
