SUMMARY:Why Should We Care? The Economics of Agricultural Production and Environmental Stewardship
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the launch of Augustana’s new Agricultural Speaker Series, created to spark meaningful connections and conversations across the agricultural community. Each session invites those who live and work in agriculture to come together, share experiences, and explore ideas shaping the future of farming and rural living.\nThe first session dives into nature-based solutions in agriculture, exploring how grassland and wetland conservation can strengthen both environmental and economic sustainability. Drawing on real-world examples from across the Prairies, this discussion highlights practical ways people are working with nature to build a more resilient future.\nThis is a free event, but registration is encouraged using this link! ( https://ualberta.alumniq.com/index.cfm/events:register/primary/eventId/774/iq ) For more information go to uab.ca/AgSeries\n
