DESCRIPTION:The Town of Ponoka is excited to present a new family-friendly winter community event.\nJoin them on Saturday, February 7, at Winter Day in the Park from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Lions Centennial Park (on Highway 2A, north of Highway 53).\nThis free event will include:\nLive ice-carving demonstration;\nL’il Chippers Ice Carving Station (participants are given a piece of ice, safety glasses, a small chisel and instructions on how to create their own small ice carving);\nBonfire;\nTobogganing (in front of the stage area); and\nFree hot dogs and hot chocolate.\n“This fun family event brings a new attraction to our community during the winter months. Winter Day in the Park celebrates community spirit and outdoor recreation.
