Sandy Beach Regional Park is a hidden gem just 15 minutes north of Lloydminster on Highway 17. Small in size but big on charm, the park offers something for everyone! The nine-hole grass green golf course is truly the pride of Sandy Beach—carefully maintained greens, fairways, and tee boxes make it a welcoming and enjoyable course for golfers of all skill levels.On warm summer days, enjoy the public beach on the park’s scenic lake, a favorite gathering spot for families and friends. Whether you’re splashing off the slides and diving boards, relaxing by the water, or watching the kids enjoy the playground, there’s no shortage of fun to be had.
Want to stay for a few days? They have full serviced and non-serviced campsites to meet your camping needs.
The park also offers a community hall, an enclosed picnic shelter, daily campfire pits, walking paths, horseshoes, a basketball and pickleball court, and plenty of open space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. At the entrance, the concession is stocked with snacks, beverages, and rentals for horseshoes and golf clubs. Their kitchen serves burgers, sandwiches, and other hot meals—and don’t miss the scoopable ice cream, a summertime favorite available all season long!
