CAMROSE ATTRACTIONS & EVENTS


History buffs can explore the city’s fascinating past at the Camrose Heritage Railway Station & Park . Step into the charm of the 1911 Canadian Northern Railway Depot and enjoy the beauty of 13 breathtaking heritage gardens. A highlight is the 92-foot-long train, designed to carry 24 passengers, which was skillfully crafted by a local Camrose resident. Be sure to check out Train Day in July!

Camrose hosts a variety of exciting events throughout the year. In June, start your summer off right with the popular Jaywalkers Jamboree, followed by the Purple Martin (Bird) Festival, and a celebration of National Indigenous Day. At the end of June, support a great cause by joining the Camrose MS Bike Tour.

In July, the Camrose Gardeners host artisans working live in their gardens during the Camrose Art Walk. Be sure to experience the lively Camrose Kickn’ Country Parade, and grab your tickets for the Big Valley Jamboree—the premier music festival for music lovers and those seeking a great time, taking place in late July.

In August, witness the spectacle of the RCMP Musical Ride, and in September, don’t miss the community spirit of the Big Block Party downtown.

Visit Mirror Lake, Valleyview Pond, Duggan Pond, and Cascades Pond, which are available for non-motorized recreation activities such as canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and small paddle boats under 12 ft from May to September.

On Saturdays, stop by the Camrose & District Farmers’ Market at the Duggan Mall from 10 to 1 pm. You can also head to Miquelon Lake Provincial Park Farmers’ Market open Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Discover even more local products through the Food Artisans of Camrose County, a collective of local growers, producers, and processors.
