Metis Crossing Moss Bag Workshop

Moss Bags are a beautifully decorated way to securely wrap a baby,
which was and still is an important child-rearing tool for
Métis families. They can be simple or elaborately decorated,
depending on the use and family tradition.

In this workshop participants will make one Moss Bag, receive
teachings on how to use them, and learn some durable and washable
decorative techniques.

Participants will need to bring a sewing machine and should be
proficient in the use of their machine.

Time:10:00am – 4:00pm (lunch not included in price of workshop, bistro options are available)
Price: $120.00 or $75.00 (with own material)
