Lac La Biche Culture Day
Events entail 3 days of celebration of Indigenous Culture from Sept. 22 to 24. Events commence with a breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausages, hashbrowns, bacon, coffee & tea. Lunchtime meal consists of BBQ burger, Bannock, hotdogs, baked potatoes & various drinks. Musical performers, dancers & fashion showcasing of indigenous cultural attire with Metis women & girls donning exquisitely designed ribbon skirts, while elders relay hunting & trapping skills with storytelling. The event closes at 8 p.m.
