Perseid Meteor Shower at Elk Island National Park

Expand your horizons with stargazing this summer! In the heart of the Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve, Elk Island National Park is a perfect place to experience the stars and planets above, as well as take in seasonal meteor showers such as the Perseids. Park interpreters will be at the Astotin Lake beach from 10 pm to 12 pm to help facilitate meteor shower viewing and educational opportunities (weather permitting).
