Treaty 6 Art Festival

An Indigenous multi-disciplinary Arts festival featuring Visual Art, Performance Art, Spoken-word, and Music.  This event is a showcase of Contemporary Indigenous Art from all across Western Treaty ix Territory.  It is a celebration of Indigenous Artists.

The music festival will be a paid event and will be held in the North Field at the Energy Centre.  It is an outdoor event so dress for the weather.  The music entertainment will be from 3:30-11:00pm.  The proceeds from ticket sales will be used to pay each Artist who is a part of the event and will be used to bring the Festival back for another year.

The event is being held at the Cold Lake Energy Centre and will feature an all-indigenous line-up of visual artists, performance artists, poets and musicians. There will also be food and artisan vendors on-site.

The Treaty Six Contemporary art festival was created to provide up-and-coming Indigenous artists in Treaty Six Territory an opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional setting. Additionally, the goal of the collective is to spread art and inspire artistic practice in those whose access to an artistic community is limited.
