POSTPONED Treaty Six Contemporary Art Festival
Treaty Six Contemporary Art Collective, August 19, 2021 – Due to the spiking cases of COVID-19 in Alberta and Cold Lake, we have decided to postpone the Treaty 6 Contemporary Art festival until June 10 and 11, 2022.
While we would have loved to put up the festival in September, our number one priority is protecting our audience members, elders, leaders and artists. It would break our hearts to have even one person catch COVID-19 at our event and thus, we believe that it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone.
With this new date, you can expect to have a festival that is going to be 10 times better than it would’ve been in September! The Halluci Nation is still set to showcase their work along with many more Indigenous artists!
The Collective and collaborators have worked incredibly hard to realize the vision of the Festival and we just want to thank everyone who supported us thus far.
Stay frosty and keep six! Hiy hiy!
