Elk Island National Park Learn To Camp Experience

Ready to spend a night under the stars? Join Parks Canada for a Learn-to Camp overnight experience, where you will learn everything you need to know to plan your own camping adventure.

Learn-to Camp overnights are family friendly weekend events designed to teach anyone the fundamentals of camping in the great outdoors. Campers will spend Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning taking part in hands-on workshops such as: how-to pitch a tent, how-to build a campfire, how-to use a campstove and much more!

Tent, foam sleeping pads and camp stoves are provided.

Êtes-vous prêt à passer une nuit sous les étoiles? Joignez-vous à nous pour le programme d’initiation au camping; vous apprendrez tout ce qu’il vous faut pour préparer votre aventure de camping.

Les nuitées d’initiation au camping sont des activités familiales de fin de semaine conçues pour enseigner à tout le monde les rudiments du camping au grand air. Samedi après-midi et dimanche matin, vous participerez à des ateliers pratiques tels que : comment monter une tente, comment allumer un feu de camp, comment utiliser un réchaud, et bien plus encore!

Les tentes, les matelas de camping et les réchauds sont fournis.

Tout le monde est bienvenu!
