Highway 16

Welcome to the Highway 16 Tour!
The Highway 16 route takes you East of Edmonton from Sherwood Park, the newly established Beaver Hills Biosphere through Vegreville, Vermilion to Lloydminster at the Saskatchewan Border. Enjoy lots of awesome attractions and shops all along the way.

Not-To-Miss List

Events

The Bruce Stampede is always a favourite, as is the Vikings in the Street Festival. Come by the Hills Music Festival in Wainwright continues to draw record numbers of attendees each year.

Roadside Attractions

Miquelon Provincial Park, the Beaverhill Lake Nature Centre and Museum - home to numerous interpretive displays on the rich natural and cultural history of the area, and unique and historic town sites

MUSEUMS

You'll want to make sure to check out Paradise Valley Climb Through Time Museum, 'From Tea Cups to Tractors' in Edgerton and the CREAM Museum tour has stops along the Highway 14 route as well.

Camping

Head over to Black Nugget Lake Campground near Tofield for great camping and recreation. We've also got great camping in Edgerton, and Irma. And for those over the age of 50, check out the Blue Bird RV Park near Tofield.

Get Golfing

Golf enthusiasts will find numerous courses to challenge their skills along Highway 14. Among these are the Coal Creek Golf Resort near Ryley and Riverdale Mini Park near Wainwright. Add Edgerton Golf Course to your list as well.

Beary Berry Honey is THE place to find not only the best local honey but also many incredible products handmade in small batches by the family who own and operate the business in Tofield.
