Royal Canadian Legion Branch 39 has been in operation and serving the Vegreville and surrounding communities for the last 93 years. The Legion is a non-profit organization that supports our local Veterans, First Responders and local youth through donating money and time to local charities and their events.
For the history buff the legion has a wonderful collection of war time and military memorabilia that is available to be viewed anytime the legion is open.
If you are in need of a venue for an event, they have a 180 person capacity hall with a full kitchen that can be rented out for a very reasonable rate. It is a wonderful venue for birthday parties, retirement parties, or company meetings. Catering and a full service bar are available for your event. The caterers can work with you to put together a wonderful meal for your event at a very reasonable rate.  Please contact the Vegreville Legion for rates and availability at (780) 632-3900.
The Vegreville Legion also hosts weekly and monthly entertainment that is open to the public:
Wednesday evenings there is PlayNation Poker starting at 7:00pm,
Thursday night Bingo with doors opening at 6:00pm and Bingo beginning at 7:00.
Friday Night drop in darts available starting at 7:00
Friday Night Family Game Nights the 1st and 3rd Friday of the Month.ÂIn addition to the weekly entertainment they host a Legion Breakfast the second Sunday of the month between 9:00am and 11:30am and a Monthly Steak Fry the last Friday of the month between 5:30 and 7:00.
