Josephburg Ag Society Classic
The Classic is Josephburg Ag Society’s premier ‘youth in agriculture’ event. Having started in the late 90s, the beef show is a fun stop on the Junior Show Circuit. As many as 200 head of beef cattle have been known to enter the show. An Open Division was added. Seeing a need for 4-H beef projects to get some ring time, we added the 4-H division in 2019. This has proven very popular with a high number of clubs represented. Youth and their families come from across Alberta and western Saskatchewan and enter for a chance to both learn and compete in Josephburg. It is the largest cattle show in Strathcona County and a long-standing component of the junior show circuit.
SHOW will be held on SATURDAY, May 25, 2024, in Josephburg, AB
Registration forms go live on March 15, 2024, at noon and will close on May 10, 2024 or sooner if capacity is reached.
Three divisions – Junior, Open and 4-H. (No cross-entries of 4-H to the other divisions)
