CANCELLED: Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village Celebration of Dance
Update from the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village:
On Friday, April 18, 2025, a devastating grass fire broke out at a property near the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village, which quickly spread due to dry conditions and high winds.
Due to this fire, opening day of May 17, 2025 has been delayed and our annual Celebration of Dance event is cancelled.
Alberta’s government is committed to reopening the site when it is safe and appropriate to do so. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding at this time and look forward to welcoming you back when we can open our doors again.

It’s a celebration of Ukrainian dance on Victoria Day at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village! Visitors can witness a dazzling display of Ukrainian dancers of all ages while also stepping back in time to explore the historical village. The opening weekend of the 2025 summer season also marks the start of the 50th anniversary celebrations for the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village.
