Metis Crossing Capote Workshop
Capotes are Métis coats that were traditionally handmade from wool blankets. They are light but warm and somewhat water-repellent. Participants will make their own coat, personalized with pockets and optional décor. With nothing more than a wool blanket, some yarn and a needle and a couple of basic stitches you will be stylish in your own Capote.
In this small workshop, you will be guided by Métis Crossing Knowledge Holder, Lilyrose Meyers.
Advance bookings are required.
