Why Go?
It’s been over 15 years since Karen & Gary Sorensen developed a passion for fine teas. They began their journey in a spare room with about 100 teas, and a few teapots and infusers. From that small beginning to a cozy spot at the Vegreville Train Station, then almost a year later, to their own quaint tea shop, just east of main street in downtown Vegreville. It became the favoured tea spot in the area for almost 13 years. At its peak, there were almost 400 teas to choose from. Simply a delight for tea newbies and tea connoisseurs alike. A wonderful place to enjoy a homemade scone, or slice of pie with a glorious pot of tea, and gifts and treasures to explore.
As with some other small businesses, COVID19 took its toll. And, being of retirement age, the Sorensens decided to change things up a bit. So, they moved the goods to a warehouse in Camrose, where they have retired. The store is now strictly an online business where you can still choose from over 300 premium teas, and many of the gifts and treasures you so love.
