Vegreville Largest Egg and Spoon Race World Record Attempt

On August 30th, head down to Vegreville for their largest egg and spoon race world record attempt! Held in conjunction with Alberta Day this is a record-breaking event you won’t want to miss!

• Date/Time/Location: August 30, 2025 | 2:00 PM | Pysanka Park
• Goal: We’re aiming for 3,000 participants to comfortably beat the current record of 2,039, set in October 2024 in Tepatitlán de Morelos, Mexico.
• Pre-Registration Required: Registration is online at Town of Vegreville – World Record Attempt
• Volunteers Needed: We’re also looking for volunteers to act as stewards and witnesses — a requirement for formally submitting to Guinness.
