Gibbons hosts ten parks, including seven playgrounds, two passive parks, and a sports grounds area. Read below to learn more.

Attractions & Events

Gibbons is proud to be home to numerous parks, trails and playgrounds, including the inclusive playground at Memorial Park. Echo Glen Park boasts over 2 km of scenic walking trails that run alongside the Sturgeon River Valley.

Visit the historic themed playground at Riverview Park, located at the end of the River Valley trail, a part of the Historic Athabasca Landing Trail. To explore more green space and history, make sure to stop by Oliver Park, where you can find the Gibbons Museum with its colllection of historic buildings. FARMS, ART SCENIC DRIVE

Go North to Experience the ultimate family getaway at Jurassic Forest, an exclusive destination situated just north of town. Explore a 40-acre prehistoric preserve and get up close with life-size dinosaurs, all while enjoying additional attractions like mini golf, a learning centre, and a premium golf resort.

Join the Range Road Art Collective in June for a self-guided Countryside Art Tour just outside Gibbons. Meet local artists and explore unique studios along scenic Range Roads 224–225.
