The murals portray the history, events and challenges of the francophone families, the organizations and the religious communities. Legal is the “French Mural Capital of Canada”, and in fact it has the highest concentration of murals per capita in the world. The first mural was painted in 1998, with the last mural depicting Louis Riel and the Irish Immigration to Canada, was completed in 2013.
