Ponoka Winter Day in the Park

The Town of Ponoka is excited to present a new family-friendly winter community event.

Join them on Saturday, February 7, at Winter Day in the Park from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Lions Centennial Park (on Highway 2A, north of Highway 53).

This free event will include:

Live ice-carving demonstration;
L’il Chippers Ice Carving Station (participants are given a piece of ice, safety glasses, a small chisel and instructions on how to create their own small ice carving);
Bonfire;
Tobogganing (in front of the stage area); and
Free hot dogs and hot chocolate.
“This fun family event brings a new attraction to our community during the winter months. Winter Day in the Park celebrates community spirit and outdoor recreation. It showcases just one of the many winter activities that make our town your go-to winter destination,” said Mayor Kevin Ferguson.
