Prairie Gardens International Women’s Day Retreat

Join us at Prairie Gardens this International Women’s Day (March 8th) to celebrate the Year of the Woman Farmer 2026. Begin your mini retreat with a scrumptious farm-to-table brunch, featuring our famous everything-from-the-farm salad, dilly garlic roasted potatoes, herb-infused scones, farm-fresh egg frittatas, and more.

After brunch, foster meaningful connections with your fellow attendees and take the time to celebrate the role of women in agriculture while reflecting on the challenges we face. Keynote speaker: Owner & Horticulturalist, Tam Andersen.

Conclude your experience with a hands-on seed starting workshop. Embrace the rejuvenation that comes with getting your hands dirty. No really! Soil has real microbial benefits that can help boost your mood while reducing stress and anxiety. Sink into calm mindfulness or settle in to the joy of seeding – the start of the gardening season. Includes three seed starters to take home.

Bonus! Meet the newest members of our farm-ily, and charge up on the super cute and visit the (goat) kids at the Petting Farm before departing.
