Why Go?
The Palace Theatre is a historic and iconic centrepiece in the town of Daysland, Alberta.The Palace Theatre was constructed by the Tury family in 1952 and remained a family owned and operated endeavour, with movies playing every week night and Saturday matinees, until 1999. In 1999, ownership passed from the Tury family to the Daysland and District Cultural Arts Society, otherwise known as DaysArts.
What’s Unique?
The DaysArts group has since then renovated a great deal of the theatre and added live theatre and concert production as well as creating kids programming and special events offerings.Check out the website for detailed information about all the artistic events, movies and programming schedules coming up at The Palace Theatre.
