Set in a beautifully restored 1911 building, this museum has been sharing the stories of Holden and the surrounding area since 1991. Wander through a pioneer kitchen, peek inside an old general store, and check out the schoolroom, church, barbershop, jail, and even a parlour filled with handcrafted treasures. Outside, don’t miss the Piche oven, a unique piece of prairie baking history.What’s Unique?
This historic building once served as the town hall, fire hall, and jail. Now, it holds the community’s stories, artifacts, and memories, giving people a special way to connect with history.Open: Mid-May to mid-September.
Friday to Sunday: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Additional hours may be available during special events, such as Farmer’s Day. The museum is also open by appointment year-round, including the off-season.
