Just outside the city, PoppyWynn Flower Co. and Toews & Bale invite visitors to experience a real working prairie farm where hay fields and flower gardens grow side by side. In summer, the flower gardens open for U-pick days, where guests can wander the rows, gather armfuls of blooms, and enjoy the quiet beauty of the countryside. The gardens include more than 2,000 peony plants, along with a wide variety of seasonal flowers that change throughout the summer and early fall. Visitor can also preorder fresh flowers or small square hay bales directly from the farm.What’s Unique?
Unlike many flower farms, this is also a working hay operation, so visitors can experience agriculture in action while exploring the gardens. The farm is part of a growing prairie destination, with plans for a small farm store and “Farmer’s Table” gathering space featuring flowers, local foods, and simple countryside hospitality.
