Next to New Everything, Supporting Community Activities
Busy B Bargains in Tofield, Alberta is a non-profit organization which operates two thrift and recycling shops, offering furniture, household items, clothing, collectibles, books and toys.
The success of Busy B Bargains is largely due to the enthusiastic volunteers who keep both the north and south location running smoothly and seamlessly. Proceeds from sales serve to provide financial support to a number of community organizations in the town of Tofield and surrounding areas including: Rural Crime Watch, the Diabetic Support Group, and Tofield-Ryley and Area Food Bank. A number of community improvements and events initiatives also benefit from proceeds. Any funds in excess of the operational expenses are donated for projects that benefit community life, such as the town sign or the Communities in Bloom program.
