Big Valley Jamboree – Western Canada’s premier country music festival, hosting country music’s top recording artists over the long weekend of August. The event kicks off with a parade in downtown Camrose and features live rodeo, mid-way fun, a trade show, on-site camping, and top-tier live music. July 31 – Aug 3
Mallaig Haying in the 30’s – Enjoy this incredible fundraising event complete with pioneer demonstrations, kid’s games, village tours, face painting and more! Aug 2-3
Smoky Lake Stampede – Expect a full weekend of rodeo events, good food, Enjoy, a petting zoo, face painting, mazes and much more! Aug 2–3
Lac La Biche Country Fair, Rodeo & Alberta Wife Carrying Championship – Join for the annual fair, packed with fun activities for everyone! Enjoy the Horticultural Bench Show, exciting children’s activities, a huge farmers’ market, live music on the stage, and concession on-site. Don’t miss the wildly entertaining wife-carrying championship on Saturday, held at the Lac La Biche Ag Grounds! Aug 1-2
Prairie Berry Festival at Prairie Gardens Adventure Farm – Fairy Berry Festival fun includes kids fairy and pirate crafts, trackless train rides, mazes, baby goats, plus Fizzlewits’ Fairy Finding tours. Vegreville Country Fair Get ready for thrilling midway rides, exciting games, and delicious food trucks. Maizex Corn Maze – Maizex Corn Maze, near Kitscoty, is the perfect destination for outdoor fun! Ride to Reynolds – See an amazing one day display of Motorcycles at the Reynolds Alberta Museum. Aug 9

Clandonald Country Fair – It’ll be a full day with events like face painting, the watermelon Contest, pancake breakfast, demo from the fire department, and more! Aug 9
Camrose RCMP Musical Ride – THE WORLD-FAMOUS RCMP MUSICAL RIDE. It’s the show that will fill you with pride! A troop of police officers and their horses perform intricate formations and drills set to music. Don’t miss this uniquely Canadian experience. Aug 13
AV & The Inner City at the Camrose Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre – Redefining Canada’s Soul and Roots scene with their powerful storytelling and breathtaking harmonies. Led by the dynamic Ann Vriend (AV), this six-piece, all-female vocal powerhouse delivers music that is both deeply personal and universally uplifting. Aug 13

Alberta Open Farm Days – Come meet your rural neighbours. Visit local farms and farmers markets to learn where your food comes from and enjoy unique culinary experiences. Aug 16 – 17
