One of the unique calling cards of Lloydminster is that it’s home to the World’s Largest Border Markers. The border markers, each standing 100 feet tall, are visible from miles away. The Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre houses a museum, art gallery, wildlife display, science centre and more. You can choose to stroll through the permanent exhibits in the Imhoff Art Gallery and Fuchs Wildlife Exhibit, or the OTS Heavy Oil Science Center. Lloydminster is the place to be for exciting events! If you’re new to chuckwagon racing, prepare yourself for a wild week of heart-pounding 5/8-mile excitement, nail-biting suspense and wholesome fun for the whole family. These horses were born to race, and when the whistle blows, you’ll see just how fast they can run!
The Lloydminster Christmas Craft Fair is the region’s largest gift and variety show in November. With something for everyone of all ages, you won’t want to miss the more than 400 booths of tables, crafts, gifts, antiques, sports and toys. Whatever it is, you’ll find it here!
To wrap up the year, don’t miss the action during the PBR Bull Riding Winter Classic. This one night of heart-stopping bull riding action takes place in December.
Gold Horse Casino is the newest member of SIGA’s (Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority) family of casinos. The new casino is a 33,750 square feet entertainment venue.
