Rocky Meadows Country-Getaway

Rocky Meadows Country Getaway is a great campground located north of Bonnyville and features a fantastic fresh air experience consisting of a treed campground and powered seasonal sites.

The M.D. of Bonnyville operates 11 campgrounds in the Bonnyville and Cold Lake Region, including Chicken Hill Lake, Moose Lake and Muriel Lake - all within 20 minutes of the Town of Bonnyville. Be sure to bring your toys and enjoy some family fun!

Located in the historic Shaw House at Vezeau Beach on Moose Lake, the M.D. of Bonnyville's Visitor Information and Interpretive Centre (VIIC) is your go-to stop for local insights, maps, guides, and souvenirs from regional artisans. Next to the Vezeau Beach M.D. Park and dual-vehicle boat launch with a 15-slip dock, the VIIC is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended summer hours. Relax on the deck with a coffee or ice cream, take in views of Moose Lake, explore local history and landscapes, and let the kids enjoy the jumping pillow by the playground. Love walking or biking? Standing at 60 feet tall, Aerial Adventure Park offers amazing views of Cold Lake at the top and promises an exhilarating experience. There are several skill levels on the climbing structure to choose from to get to the top, and even a course on the lower level for the little ones. Want a more straight-forward route to the top? Take the stairs to get to one of the best viewpoints in the M.D.

Test your aim at the Target Golf Course, featuring 10 tee boxes and scattered targets—fun for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Bring your own irons or borrow a set from the resort, and see how accurate you can be!

Give your kids a day to remember with themed summer camps designed for fun, creativity, and adventure. Whether they’re into outdoor thrills or hands-on activities, there’s something for everyone.

Located on the second floor of the chalet, The Ridge is a full-service restaurant offering ski hill favourites like poutine and pizza, plus Sunday Brunch with mimosas. Enjoy summer lake views or cozy up by the fireplace in winter. The menu features locally sourced ingredients, including angus and bison meat, seasonal veggies, fresh berries, microgreens, and artisanal cheese. The bar offers local beers, ciders, cocktails, mocktails, wine, specialty coffees, and smoothies. The Ridge accommodates dietary needs with gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options.
