Celebrate the season of the sunflowers at our Sunflower Daze Fest!
Our Sunflower Daze Fest runs during the September long weekend. Make your own Sunflower Bouquets and Centerpieces, explore the Sunflower Daze Maze trails – don’t forget to snap some photos! You can also drive to our second location just down the road for u-pick sunflowers right from the field.
U-Pick vegetables are available as well at the Prairie Gardens’ Farm – Big Field, including: potatoes, cucumbers, sweet corn, kohlrabi, kale, beans, and more!
Enjoy live music, stop at the ice cream stoop for a refreshing scoop of Foothills Creamery ice cream, and grab a bite at our farm concession during the festival.
Sunflower Daze Fest 2025: August 30th-September 1st
The sunflowers don’t stop blooming on the weekdays! Visit us during the weekdays – usually the best time for sunflowers is the last week of August through the first week of September!
While the festival does not run on weekdays, you can still visit the sunflower daze trails, visit the farm animals, enjoy a train ride, explore the u-pick fields for produce like beans, peas, zucchini, and kohlrabi, and go treasure hunting at the Lost Lemon Gem Mine.
U-Pick Sunflowers 9:30am-12:30pm – Wednesdays & Saturdays, mid-August – mid-September (until it freezes!)
