Prairie Gardens Fairy Berry Farm Festival

Sprinkle some whimsy and fairy dust on the August long weekend at the farm at our Fairy Berry Festival – a celebration of the fairy strawberries and the start of the upick veggie season at the farm!
Ahoy matey! Have ye ‘ere been lost in a sea of corn??? The kids will love the kids’ corn maze (10 min maze) and our new pirate ship, and wee pirates and fairies (children ages 12 and under, dressed up as fairies and pirates) get FREE admission this weekend!
Fairy Berry Festival fun includes kids’ fairy and pirate crafts, trackless train rides, mazes, baby goats, Fizzlewits’ Fairy Finding tours at 11:30 and 1:30 all three days. Enjoy good old-fashioned farm fun and live folk music from noon to 3 pm.
Farm tours include tips on herbology, learn about medicinal or edible flowers, and plants around the farm. Visit our new Apothecary Farmacy while visiting to learn about the plants that are our friends that grow here and the ways of the land.
U-pick wee fairy strawberries while they last, or dig your potatoes, pick-your-own peas, beans, tomatoes and zucchini.
Our farm market and tree nursery offer fruit trees, brambles and fruit bushes, and in-season, freshly harvested produce, jams and heirloom tomatoes!
Enjoy a Foothills Creamery ice cream cone, bumble berry shortcake and farmer’s fare for lunch.
You can make a succulent fairy cup garden or go gem mining for a small extra fee.
Hours: 9:30 – 6 pm August 2nd, 3rd, and Holiday Monday – August 4th.
