Whether planning a new yard or garden or just picking out your bedding plants, a visit to Hastings Lake Gardens is a must. Their greenhouses, cover 16000 sq. feet and they are located just 20 minutes east of South Edmonton. Open to the public for 2 months a year, from May 1st until mid to end of June they are right in line with the Alberta growing season. They treat their plants for aphids and harden them off. Paying very close attention to each and every one, you are guaranteed to get the best quality for the best price.
There is a wonderful selection of geraniums, proven winners, bedding plants, seeds, herbs and vegetables. They specialize in hanging baskets, and have over 800 to choose from in supertunias, fuchsias, million bells and mixed varieties. You can take advantage of their tag & save program in the early part of May. We also carry some of the most unique giftware, that you really will not find anywhere else.
They also offer a wedding ceremony and photography location.
