- Cross Country Skiing – Enjoy cross country skiing at the Wainwright Golf Course or at Riverdale Mini-Park. (Please park by the main gate and walk to access trails).
- Winter Trails – Experience the beautiful Wainwright Wildlife Society’s Recreational Trail System. A fabulous 6km trail system for activities such as: walking, hiking, snowhoeing, cross country running/skiing, biking and photography. Equipment can be rented from the Community Recreation Association.
- Ice Fishing – Set up your line, grab a hot drink and wait for a bite at one of our nearby lakes:
- Take a Stroll – along our beautiful Main Street all lit up with gorgeous Christmas lights. This will definitely get you in the holiday spirit!
