There are
some great opportunities to experience something new at this festival. The LLB Back Country Riders are hosting Introduction to Snowmobile Rider Training – one for adults, and one for kids. No experience is necessary, so if you’ve been curious about snowmobiling, but never had the opportunity to try it, here’s your chance.
You can also test your artistic side when you try some mini ice sculpting with Ice on Whyte Little’ Chippers – for kids and adults. You can make your own piece of art. This event is hosted by the Lions Club of LLB.
If you’d like to test some more hand-eye coordination, try out some axe-throwing. Hit the bulls eye on fun!!
Remember the cultural activities too…
There’s an 18-foot teepee on display, a Métis Cultural Tent with Bannock making displays and hot chocolate available, plus a trappers display with a trapper’s cabin to explore.
There’s even more…
You can find a trade show and job fair inside McArthur Place. Find quality homemade products at the trade show or bring a resume and find a company to help bring out your skills.
The festivities continue into the evening with dinner and music in the Community Hall at the Bold Centre. This event features a delicious roast beef supper and entertainment by local talent, Girlz with Guitarz. Tickets are $30.
