Tillicum Beach Campground is located on Driedmeat Lake, 1 km east of Camrose and 14 km south of Highway 13. On the lake’s eastern shore, Tillicum Park has a campground and day-use area operated by Camrose County. The campground has 7 (30-amp) power sites, offering a wide variety of recreational activities including, canoeing, kayaking, motor boating, fishing, and wildlife viewing! Driedmeat Lake is famous for northern pike in the summer and for ice-fishing in the winter. Take advantage of the walking and cycling trails, beach area amenities, pier and boat launch. For your camping necessities, coin operated showers are available, washroom facilities and fire pits. Registration is first come, first served.What’s Unique?
The Lake is a true recreational attraction! Every January, a family fishing derby is organized by Battle River Reelers. You can also check out the natural freshwater spring just North of Tillicum Beach, a small side road off of Paradise Drive.AmenitiesÂ
