Smoky Lake County Campgrounds

Bellis Beach
Enjoy the Pine Forest wilderness atmosphere with a calm clearwater lake. The lake is stocked with trout every May offering fishing fun for everyone. The campsite is equestrian friendly with plenty of trails to ride and horse boarding facilities are also available. Open: May – Oct.  25 sites, day use area, toilets, firewood. Kaduk Lake
This is a nature lovers paradise! Enjoy the bird watching from one of the 13 unserviced campsites.  Open: May – Oct.  13 sites, toilets, picnic shelter, firewood, non-potable water pump, and a camp kitchen. Mons Lake Rec. Area
Enjoy camping in nicely treed and separated campsites at Mons Lake. Open: April – Oct. 8 sites, day use area, firewood, fish cleaning stand. Services:  (N). Recreation: playground, beach, swimming, boat launch, motor boating, water skiing, canoeing,  fishing. 6.4 km East of Smoky Lake on Hwy. 28; 3.2 km North and 0.4 km West.  587-335-5510

Shemeluk Lake – Day Use Only picnic area, fishing, electric motor/rowing boats . 3 km east of Smoky Lake on Hwy 28, 10 km north on RR 165.

Hanmore Lake Campgrounds – 

A popular retreat with two campgrounds giving you access to all the water activities you could dream of. Hanmore Lakes West has 37 sites, and Hanmore East has 16 sites plus a large group site. Kayak, canoe and Paddle Board rentals are available at hourly and daily rates. There is no shortage of activities here, get up to berry picking, off-site ATV exploring, fishing, golfing with your friends and plenty of swimming!Open: May – Sept. 2 campgrounds 53 sites. Island Lake
This quaint campground has 9 unserviced sites, toilets, firewood, picnic shelter. Services: (N) Recreation: boat launch, canoeing, fishing. 20 km North of Smoky Lake on Hwy 855, then 3 km NE.  780-656-6580

Garner Lake Provincial Park
There are a few sites located on the lake and all sites are nicely treed and provide some privacy. Open: May – Sept. 61 sites, day use area, dump station, firewood, picnic shelter, showers. Bonnie Lake Vilna Rec. Area
Just a 5 min. walk to Vilna golf course. Open: May – Oct. 32 sites, firewood, picnic shelter, toilets. Smoky Lake

Metis Crossing RV Park
Along the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, Metis Crossing RV Park is over 500 acres of tradition and customs found in one place. Open: May – Sept.  41 sites, 10 trappers tents, firewood, showers, picnic area, playground, gift shop, special events. Services: 30 amp (P/N) Recreation: horseshoe pits, trails, hiking, swimming, boating, canoeing, fishing on the North Saskatchewan River. 15 km south of Smoky Lake on Hwy 855, 1 km East on Victoria Trail off Hwy 855. 780-656-2229

Smoky Lake Golf Resort
Stay at 1 of the 14 full-service sites and golf the Smoky Lake Golf Club. Open: May-Oct. 14 sites. Showers, picnic tables, firepits, potable water. Services: 30 amp (PWS). Smoky Lake RV Park
Open: April -Oct.  12 sites, showers, firewood, overflow parking. Services:  30 amp (PWS) Recreation: nearby playground, baseball, museum, spray park. 4612 – 54 Ave.  Located behind the Smoky Lake Agricultural Complex. 780-656-0394

Vilna
Paradise Cove
Open: Year-round. 150 sites (100 seasonal sites w/P), day use area,  dump station, firewood, outhouse toilets, showers, caretaker, store. Services: 15 & 30 amp (P/N). Recreation: playground, beach, swimming, boat launch, water skiing, canoeing, fishing. Hwy. 36 proceed 22 km North, 10 km East to dead-end, follow signs (at Whitefish Lake).  780-636-2819.
