Why Stay?
Located 20–25 km north of the Town of Smoky Lake, Hanmore Lake Campground offers a peaceful lakeside escape with two campgrounds on the east and west sides of the lake, both providing easy water access and great swimming.The East Campground features 16 individual sites and one large group site, the main beach with swimming docks, a picnic and day-use area with playground, a public boat launch, and kayak and paddleboard rentals, ideal for families and groups.
The West Campground offers 39 campsites in a quieter setting, with a smaller beach and swimming area, playground, boat launch, and trailer parking. Some sites can accommodate multiple units.
Both campgrounds are pet-friendly and include firepits, with firewood and ice available for purchase. Please note there are no power, water, or sewer services at either campground.

Hanmore Lake is the perfect spot for outdoor lovers. Enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, and relaxing beach days, plus nearby berry picking, off-site ATV exploring, and golfing.Open May 14 to October 4, with sites available for $25 per night.
