Smoky Lake County Campgrounds – Update June 2, 2020 –
Bellis Beach
Enjoy the Pine Forest wilderness atmosphere with a calm clearwater lake. The lake is stocked with trout every May offering fishing fun for everyone. The campsite is equestrian friendly with plenty of trails to ride and horse boarding facilities are also available. Open: May – Oct. 25 sites, day use area, toilets, firewood. This is a nature lovers paradise! Enjoy the bird watching from one of the 13 unserviced campsites. Open: May – Oct. 13 sites, toilets, picnic shelter, firewood, non-potable water pump, and a camp kitchen. Enjoy camping in nicely treed and separated campsites at Mons Lake. Open: April – Oct. 8 sites, day use area, firewood, fish cleaning stand. Services: (N). Hanmore Lake Campgrounds – See June 1, 2020 update below…
A popular retreat with two campgrounds giving you access to all the water activities you could dream of. Hanmore Lakes West has 37 sites, and Hanmore East has 16 sites plus a large group site. Kayak, canoe and Paddle Board rentals are available at hourly and daily rates. There is no shortage of activities here, get up to berry picking, off-site ATV exploring, fishing, golfing with your friends and plenty of swimming!Open: May – Sept. 2 campgrounds 53 sites. Along the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, Metis Crossing RV Park is over 500 acres of tradition and customs found in one place.
