Island Lake Campground is situated a short distance northeast of Hanmore Lake and 28 km south of Smoky Lake, Alberta. This quaint campground provides the perfect choice for a quiet getaway. Featuring 9 unserviced campsites equipped with firepits and the option to purchase firewood. Enjoy the serene lake, or embark on an adventure by loading up your ATV’s and exploring the offroad trails that lead to the waters edge. It also makes for a great spot for fishing if you can haul a kayak/canoe/inflatable boat, as there is no longer a boat launch available due to the water level receding.
