If you’re looking for a magnificent image to wow your Instagram friends, keep on going down HWY 14 to the Fabyan Trestle Bridge, just outside of Wainwright. This spectacular bridge was completed in 1908 and is the second largest trestle bridge in Canada.

Wainwright is a community full of history and a major centre in the region. You can explore their numerous events held throughout the year, or plan to stop at the Wainwright District Museum, which details the history of the buffalo in the region and the prisoner-of-war camp from the mid 20th century.
Finish off your road trip with a jaunt to Ribstone Creek Brewery. This award-winning craft brewery in the Village of Edgerton has their taproom open on Fridays and Saturdays.
