Festive Events
November 7-9 – Bon Accord Work of Our Hands Christmas Showcase
This amazing shopping experience is held at Pottery by Heather!
November 7-8 – Wainwright Christmas Expo
This exciting event takes place at the Elks Hall in Wainwright.
November 7-January 1, 2026 – Greenland Garden Centre Lights in the Park
Greenland Garden Centre’s botanical garden has transformed again into a wonderland filled with lights, colour, polar bears and even narwhals! Explore the garden pathways lined with shimmering trees and magical photo spots.
They are also happy to help support the Strathcona Christmas Bureau and The Salvation Army in Canada again this season.
November 8 – Vegreville Christmas Arts and Crafts Sale
Find local homemade items at this event, which is celebrating its 23rd year. Remember to bring a donation for the Food Bank or Christmas Bureau too.
November 8-9 – Killam Budding Ideas Christmas Open House
Come see the beautiful Christmas displays filled with sparkle and twinkling lights.
November 8-9 – Sherwood Park NOSH Food Fest
Support over 100 food and beverage producers at the Nosh Food Festival! Enjoy a variety of sweet, salty, savory, spicy, saucy, gluten-free, vegan, international cuisine, craft beer, local distilleries, and more!
November 9 – Vermilion Festival of Crafts
Free Admission, Door Prizes, Free Crafts, Food Concession, Balloon Man and Photos with Santa all happening at the Vermilion Regional Centre! There is something for everyone!
November 14-16 – Lloydminster Christmas Craft Fair & Chamber Expo
The Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 37th Annual Christmas Craft Fair & Chamber Expo. This is the largest Christmas market in the Midwest boasting over 350 booths including handmade crafts, businesses, antiques, and a food court!
November 14-23 – Lac La Biche Festival of Trees and Christmas Shopping Extravaganza Nov 21-23
Attending the Festival of Trees is FREE! Instead, we kindly ask you to bring a non-perishable food item, new or gently used warm clothing, an unwrapped toy or stuffed animal or monetary donation. There are so many activities held during this tree-mendous week! Be sure to check out the schedule so you can catch it all!
November 16 – Daysland Christmas in the Country
Celebrate Christmas in Daysland at the Daysland School Gym. Enjoy photos with the Grinch, shopping, food, and more!

November 21 – Fort Saskatchewan Enchanted Forest
The Enchanted Forest is a favourite holiday tradition in Fort Saskatchewan. Local organizations and businesses create unique, beautiful, and fun Christmas trees that represent them and reflect the holiday season. The event runs until January 7, 2026.

Shop on November 22, 29 and December 6 for various Christmas goodies!
November 22-23 – Leduc County Christmas Artisan Market
Find the spirit of the season and shop local at this festive market filled with handmade crafts, unique gifts, and holiday cheer at the 4th Annual Christmas Artisan Market at the Leduc Golf Club. Meet talented local artisans, discover one-of-a-kind treasures, and enjoy a cozy community atmosphere.
November 23 – Andrew Christmas Market
Shop all your Christmas needs at the Andrew Community Centre with over 40 vendors!
November 23-December 21 – Prairie Gardens: Breakfast With Santa & Winter Wonderland
Prairie Gardens Adventure Farm is excited to bring you Prairie Christmas Events, happening from mid-November to mid-December! Breakfast with Santa: Make farm-to-table breakfast with Santa your new family tradition. Bring the kids to visit Santa at his sleigh and enjoy a festive holiday brunch! November 26-27 – St. Paul Local Love Christmas Market
Enjoy music, have some drinks, and shop at local vendors at the Ramada Hotel.
November 28 – Camrose Midnight Madness
Bring the whole family and enjoy a festive evening with carollers, wagon rides, scavenger hunts, and more! Discover some special, unique gifts and a local shopping experience like no other! You can also hunt for Gnomes and take selfies in Gnome frames at participating businesses.
November 28 – Elk Point Christmas Extravaganza
This 40th Anniversary of the Christmas Extravaganza begins with a Winter Wonderland parade and also includes Light up Night, Santa, Hayrides and “Shop Local Bingo” for cash!
November 28 – A Very Vegreville Christmas is an event you don’t want to miss, complete with a parade and Santa!
November 28 – Forestburg Light Up The Night
Enjoy an evening of hot dogs, hot chocolate, sleigh rides, Battle River Train Rides,
Santa Claus, Tree Lighting and more. Christmas Market on the 29th.
November 29 – Strathcona County – Christmas in the Heartland
Christmas in the Heartland is a driving tour of unique rural venues steeped in tradition. Local halls and churches will be filled with artisans and crafters, ice carvings, nativity displays, sleigh rides, holiday music and more.
November 29 – Tofield WinterFest
Come check out tons of events across the town including Breakfast with Santa, Festival of Trees, Family Dance and Fireworks!
November 29 – Cold Lake Craft Show
Shop crafts, antiques and various other vendors at the Cold Lake Energy Centre Fieldhouse! Admission is free, and donations to the Food Bank are greatly appreciated.
November 29 – Lamont Christmas Light Up
See the sparkle of the season with the Christmas Light Up. You can also enjoy free public skating, an afternoon of music, and Festival of Trees!
November 29-30 – Bonnyville Festival of Trees
Celebrate Christmas with the Festival of Trees! Enter for prizes, have photos with Santa, do some Christmas shopping, and more!
November 29-30 – Murder on the Battle River Express
Kelsey – Forestburg (Return)
A murder has taken place on the Battle River Express. Followed by a Christmas Feast with a licensed bar.

What’s Happening this Month at MÉTIS CROSSING
Honouring Indigenous Veterans Day – Saturday, November 8
The commemoration begins with a march to the Monument and Ceremony at 10:45 a.m., followed by a light lunch and program. This meaningful event is an opportunity to reflect, remember, and give thanks to those who served in times of war, conflict, and peace.
Traditional Métis Christmas Ornament Workshop – Sunday, November 9
Join Métis Elder Lilyrose to create unique Christmas ornaments using traditional materials and techniques. Select from a variety of styles and patterns to create your own handmade ornaments while learning some new skills.
Metis Crossing Holiday Market – Saturday, November 29
This event is FREE to the public and promises to be a vibrant celebration of indigenous artisans and local vendors. From handmade jewelry and unique artwork to bath products and crafts; there’s something for everyone!
