Chickenhill Lake M.D. Park
Located in the southwestern portion of the M.D., Chickenhill Lake M.D. Park has 29, 30-amp powered sites. Grab a lakefront site for great views of the vivid sunset or set up in the forested area to enjoy private, treed sites. Bring your volleyball — the beach court here is full of soft sand, great for a day of friendly competition.

From lakefront sites to the walk-up tent sites, the Cold Lake M.D. Park offers 159 spots geared for every kind of camper (145 power and 14 non-power). This park provides a great adventure base camp. Located a short five-minute walk from Kinosoo Beach, enjoy amenities such as a concession, water sport rentals, basketball and volleyball courts, and the lakeside splash park.

Lake and forest meet for a relaxing atmosphere for the 29, 30-amp power sites at the Crane Lake East M.D. Park. With a boat launch and dock and small swimming area complete with a beach and playground, it’s a great getaway for the whole family.

You’re never far from the lake here. Crane Lake West M.D. Park has 24, 30-amp power sites. The campground on this small, warm recreation lake offers a larger beach, day use area, boat mooring, with access to a neighbouring concession.

With only 11 non-power sites, Ethel Lake M.D. Park may be small, but it has a lot to keep you and your family occupied for a day or a week. Whether you have a pontoon or a kayak, it’s a great lake to spend the day on. After dinner, try your aim at the horseshoe pits.

Located minutes away from Kinosoo Ridge Resort, this park with 10 non-power sites lets you sleep in the shadow of adventure! There is a boat launch at the upper sites that can be used dependent on water levels. A small day use area provides the setting for a great beach day. Don’t feel like cooking? The Ridge restaurant on the second floor of the Kinosoo Ridge chalet has a tasty seasonal menu for you. While you’re there, check out the 60-foot-tall Aerial Adventure Park or Target Golf.

The east campground at Minnie Lake has 11 powered sites. This getaway offers a day use area, change rooms, swimming platform, frisbee golf, camp store — everything you need for a weekend of fun. On the west side, you’ll find seven large 30-amp power sites — great for a family reunion! You’ll also find a boat launch and dock. The small lake is great for a variety of water activities including wakeboarding, kayaking, canoeing, and more.

With an impressive 95 sites, 13 kilometres of hiking and biking trails, a day use lookout area, baseball diamonds and two playgrounds, Muriel Lake is one of the M.D.’s largest campgrounds. Featuring barrier-free accessible washrooms and showers. Bring your canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard to see the campground from a new view and do some birdwatching. Horse lovers can take advantage of the day use staging area for access to eight kilometres of marked horse trails. Seasonal sites available.

NEW THIS YEAR — Pelican Point M.D. Park is now ATV friendly! Bring your quad or side-by-side for a trip full of exploring and fun. A portion of the 58 non-power sites at Pelican Point will be dedicated to visitors bringing OHVs. Coming with a group of friends? Reserve one of our two large group sites. Looking for a summer at the lake? Look no further than the M.D.’s campground at Vezeau Beach on Moose Lake. This park offers 23 full-service sites plus three sites with only power that are available for seasonal camping. Enjoy the new two-lane boat launch and 15-boat slip dock. There’s a playground and jumping pillow for the kids and the 18-hole Bonnyville Golf and Country Club is across the road. Bring your bike or hiking shoes and check out the extensive trail system – including a tunnel that goes under Highway 28. Next to the Visitor Information Centre at the Shaw House, plan to stop by for an ice cream to beat the summer heat or pick up a souvenir made by local artisans.

Evergreen Birch Lodge – Three minutes west of Cold Lake’s Kinosoo Beach is this beautiful 142-acre resort, with 12 secluded full-service RV sites, cabins, one and two full-kitchen cottages, as well as three to six bedroom lodges. Evergreen Lodge is a luxury facility with six bedrooms, 10 beds, three bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, coffee bar and extra kitchen with a great room. There is an outside covered seating area that can accommodate up to 60 guests for reunions and intimate weddings. All accommodations are nestled in private forested areas, pet friendly, with 4.6 km of walking trails that wind through acres of horse pastureland filled with birds and wildlife.
