Embrace Winter with Fun Activities!

Getting outside is one of the best things you can do for your health – and it’s fun! Whether it’s an activity on poles, an easy walk or simply having a cuppa hot chocolate, there’s plenty to see, do and explore within any of the regions East of Edmonton.

Bonnyville-Cold Lake –  Adventure beyond for some of the best ice fishing, downhill and x-country skiing you can experience in our region. Book an adventure with Hamilton House Inn or Anglers Bait and Tackle.

Lac La Biche – Embrace your winter wanderlust, while staying within Alberta! Take a trapline tour, go ice fishing, cross-country skiing and more!

Strathcona County – In only 30 minutes from Edmonton, you could be snowshoeing, fat biking, or relaxing while watching the Northern Lights!

Camrose – Can’t decide what to do? There’s plenty including ice skating, tobogganing, and cross-country skiing at the Camrose Nordic Centre.

Wainwright – Have a classic winter experience while peacefully skating, cross-country skiing, or taking a trail walk.
