MUNDARE Attractions & Events
The Basilian Fathers Museum is a must-visit for history enthusiasts, as it showcases a captivating collection of artifacts that highlight Ukrainian culture and religious heritage. The museum also serves as the Visitor Information Centre for the town. A stop in Mundare is not complete without seeing the 42 ft high (6 ton) sausage replica known as the World’s Largest Sausage built by the Stawnichy family – it makes for great Instagram moments and fun selfies! Don’t miss out on Agri-Days in August showcasing a fantastic parade.
Outdoors
There are numerous outdoor activities to entertain the whole family, including a skateboard park, pickleball courts and spray park, as well as the 18-hole Whitetail Crossing Golf Course.
Ukraina Park is another great spot to soak up the sunshine, featuring three baseball diamonds, a playground, and camping sites. The town also has a dog park, which is located beside the diamonds at Victory Park 5201 - 54 Ave.
